Summer fun with the Blakes

Sadie and i have been spending a lot of time with the girls this summer. It has been a lot of fun! Its nice for Sadie to have so many people that love to play with her. Bailey is a great babysitter, she takes good care of Sadie and gives me a nice break.

Sadie loves it when Lauren drives her around in the Barbie cars. They have so much fun together and Lauren is always making her laugh.

Charlotte is like Sadie's big sister. They love playing together and have so much fun chasing each other around.

Sadie forgot her swimming suite so we borrowed a pair of build-a-bear shorts. Looking good ha?

I brought this game home from the Blake's for Sadie. It was so funny when she first saw it. She was sitting on the sofa with Mario when i set it on the floor. She jumped off the sofa so fast that Mario and I could not stop laughing. We have never seen her move so fast. She would put on all the jewelry and then walk up to Mario and i to show us how pretty she looked. Thanks Char for Pretty, Pretty, Princess Sadie loves it!

We will miss all the fun times with the girls but can't wait to hear about all the fun they will have in Canada! Looking forward to when they come back to California, so we can have more fun together!

Sadie loves the VACUUM! So we got her one so she could help out. Fifteen months old and already working hard! Next month i am going to teach her how to do the LAUNDRY!

This past weekend we went to go visit Jed, Whitney and Macie. We got to see their new house, and it was so nice. We totally approve! Sadie was so happy to see Macie, as you can tell from the picture.

Visit To L.A.

I know the picture is really bad (its a picture of a picture that's why)! But we took a trip down to L.A. to visit Mario's mission companion. We ended up staying at my great aunts house who showed us a lot of pictures. And this one is a Christmas card from when my dad was little. That is my grandma and my grandpa with uncle Todd on grandmas lap then June, Joan and then my dad. You cant really tell very well but my brother Tanner looks just like my Dad when he was younger. Mario and I thought it was pretty funny!

December was a fun month for Sadie. Her cousins came to visit for a couple days and she had so much fun playing. We all had alot of fun hanging out with family! Also, in December Sadie took 4 steps all by herself. Unfortunately we didn't get it on tape but it was the funniest thing ever, Mario and I were cracking up. Of course she hasn't done it again since then.

Monterey

This past weekend we decided to go to Monterey. We met Whitney, Jed, and Macie there and went to Tanner's Basketball tournament. Then on Saturday night we had the Comcast Christmas Party and what do you know, it was in Monterey! Grandma & Grandpa took Sadie home with them and Mario and I had our first date since Sadie has been born (that's 9 months). We had a fun time and we were glad to come home to our sleeping baby.

Thanksgiving

Sadie's first Thanksgiving was very busy. First we had lunch at Mario's parents house and than had round two at my parents house. It was a fun day. After a long day of eating Mario and Sadie went to bed while i went shopping. I went to the outlets in Gilroy at 12 midnight and didn't get back till 3:45. At 4 i left to go to get Mario's present. By the time i got home i slept for one hour and then Sadie woke up ready to play. That was the longest day ever. I think i have finally caught up on my sleep!

(Just some advice for anyone thinking about going to the outlets next year at midnight...DONT!)

Rockband

Sadie is going to be just like her dad. She loves to play rockband with him! When Mario plays the drums he gets out an extra pair of sticks for her to play as well. If she isn't playing the drums then she is dancing to the music. It is pretty funny to watch. Hopefully she gets Mario's musical talent and my word memorization. (Mario cant remember the words to songs at all, he just makes it up as he goes. I laugh at it because nothing he says makes any sense.) Hope you enjoy the video sorry about the poor quality.

The other night Sadie, Mario and I all had a pretty good time pretending we were tigers. For an hour straight Sadie was cracking up. I hope you enjoy the video as much as we do.

Birthdays

The past couple months have been pretty crazy with Birthdays. It seemed like every weekend there was another party. Sadie has had alot of fun at all of them.

Gabriel's party was a blast. Sadie experienced bubbles for the first time and got to play with the parachute.

Anthony's party was another hit. Lots of food and fun games. Sadie slept for most of it but Mario got to enjoy the parts she missed out on.

Isaiah's Halloween Birthday Party!

Isaiah party is always a costume party, witch is always alot of fun. It was Sadie's first time to dress up in a costume. Mario was a hippi, I was a witch and Sadie was my black cat.

When Aubrey and Macie came to visit the girls had a photo shoot. All the pictures came out so cute. Dont be deceived though, in the pictures Sadie looks like the happiest baby alive, but when night falls she is a whole new baby. She has been getting teeth so the nights have been pretty hard for her. Getting two teeth is hard work for a little girl. They have finally come through the gums so hopefully it will get easier... for now until more come. All though the nights have been tough we wouldn't trade it for anything she is a wonderful baby and we love her so much!

Johnny jump up

Sadie loves the Johnny Jump up. Everytime she goes to grandma and grandpa's house she loves her jumping time. The best part is the string on the side of it that she tries to suck on while she is jumping. Its the same string i used to suck on when i was a little lady. Just keeping the johnny jump up alive throughout the generations.

Mario and i have been married for two years in September. We have a beautiful baby girl Sadie Jaslene. She is five months old and so much fun. She is growing up so fast. She looks just like her dad. She has two cousins now. Aubrey who is 12 days older and Macie who is two weeks old. I cant wait tell they are all old enough to play together.
